Lab Testing & Bloodwork

Gold Divider

Lab testing is not included in visit fees.

We intentionally separate lab costs to ensure patients receive the most cost-effective and clinically appropriate testing.

For insured patients:
Labs are ordered through Quest or LabCorp so insurance can be applied directly.

For self-pay or underinsured patients:
We offer in-house blood draws and comprehensive testing, often at a lower total cost with broader test coverage.

We do not mark up lab tests.
Lab costs vary depending on what testing is clinically appropriate for each patient.

Why We Don’t Bundle Labs

Gold Divider

Every patient is different.

Bundled lab panels often include unnecessary testing and higher out-of-pocket costs. Our approach allows us to:

  • Order only what's medically relevant

  • Use insurance when available

  • Adjust testing for budget & priorities

  • Avoid inflated lab pricing

This results in more personalized care and better overall value.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why aren’t labs included in the visit fee?

Bundling labs often leads to unnecessary testing and higher out-of-pocket costs. Our approach allows us to u

How much do labs typically cost?
Costs vary by individual. Many insured patients pay little to nothing. After your initial visit, we review recommended testing and provide options based on insurance status and budget.
