-
Does we accept insurance? We don't bill insurances directly, but we can give you a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. We do accept HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA funds to pay for services. Also, we can apply your insurance, to seek coverage, for any lab testing or imaging costs. However most specialty tests used in functional medicine—like mold, parasite, or toxin panels—aren’t covered by insurance, even if they were ordered by a doctor in your network. We’ll always talk through costs with you beforehand so you can decide what’s best for your health and your budget. To understand why your insurance typically doesn't cover functional medicine services, read our explanation here: Insurance Restrictions
-
Do you offer Telehealth or virtual visits?"Yes, we offer Telemedicine appointments for most functional medicine concerns, as long as they fall within the scope of care that’s legal to manage virtually. It’s a convenient option for follow-ups and lab reviews."
-
What makes our clinic different or unique? We take a truly integrated approach to wellness. Unlike traditional clinics, we provide primary care services with a natural & holistic approach. We utilize testing, therapies, and treatments from our training in functional medicine & chiropractic medicine. Our practitioners focus on root-cause healing, not just symptom management. Harmony Health Clinic's telemedicine appointments allow patients to keep up with their health needs, even while traveling. Our new online shop with direct shipping is perfect for patients who wish to refill their medical-grade supplements in between visits.
-
Do I need a primary care doctor if I’m healthy?Yes. Having a primary care provider is just as important when you’re feeling well. Think of it as a long-term health partnership—not just a place to go when you’re sick. At Harmony Health Clinic, we use routine visits to monitor your labs, manage stress, optimize energy, and track changes in sleep, weight, blood pressure, and more. Staying proactive with a trusted provider can help prevent chronic conditions, reduce emergency visits, and keep your health goals on track.
-
Can I use my HSA or FSA for primary care visits?Yes! Harmony Health Clinic gladly accepts both Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for most primary care services, including wellness exams, lab work, and functional medicine consultations. Since we operate as a cash-based clinic in Naples, many of our patients use their HSA/FSA to cover visit costs, supplements, and even certain treatments not typically reimbursed by insurance. Always check with your plan provider to confirm what’s eligible.
-
How often should I see a primary care doctor? Most adults should see a primary care provider at least once a year for a comprehensive wellness exam—even if they feel healthy. Regular visits allow us to screen for underlying issues, monitor key lab markers, and catch early signs of disease before symptoms appear. At Harmony Health Clinic in Naples, our integrative approach combines traditional preventive care with functional medicine insights, helping you stay ahead of health problems and avoid unnecessary prescriptions or procedures.
-
What’s the difference between urgent care and primary care?Urgent care is designed for immediate, one-time medical needs—like minor injuries, infections, or sudden illness—often without prior appointments. Primary care, on the other hand, focuses on long-term health management, preventive screenings, chronic condition support, and building a trusted relationship with a provider who knows your full health history. At Harmony Health Clinic in Naples, our primary care services go beyond the basics by integrating functional medicine to uncover the root cause of symptoms and keep you healthy for the long run.
-
Is functional medicine part of primary care?At Harmony Health Clinic, we combine functional medicine with traditional primary care to offer a more complete approach to health. That means we still provide routine checkups, lab work, and health screenings—but we also dig deeper into root causes, like hormone imbalances, gut dysfunction, and nutrient deficiencies. This blend allows us to treat chronic conditions like fatigue, thyroid disorders, or metabolic syndrome more effectively while still covering your basic care needs.
-
What’s the difference between cavitation and CoolSculpting? Both cavitation and CoolSculpting are non-surgical body contouring treatments, but they work very differently. Ultrasonic cavitation uses sound wave energy to break down fat cells beneath the skin, which are then naturally flushed out by the body. CoolSculpting, on the other hand, freezes fat cells using cryolipolysis. Cavitation is generally more comfortable, requires no downtime, and is performed in shorter, more affordable sessions. At Harmony Health Clinic, we pair each cavitation session with compression therapy to enhance circulation and lymphatic drainage for better results.
-
How quickly will I see results from your weight loss program? Results vary depending on your starting point, commitment, and metabolic health. Some patients notice a difference in body shape or clothing fit after just a few cavitation sessions, but optimal results usually appear after completing a full package. We recommend at least 8–12 sessions for best outcomes. Our medically assisted weight loss program also includes lab testing to address nutrient deficiencies or metabolic blockers that may slow progress.
-
What makes your weight loss program different from other clinics in Naples?Harmony Health Clinic offers a personalized, functional medicine approach to fat loss. We don’t accept every patient into our cavitation program—instead, we conduct a medical screening to ensure it’s the right fit. Our program includes cavitation sessions paired with compression therapy, upfront pricing for accountability, and optional lab testing to uncover metabolic or nutrient-related obstacles. We don’t rely on quick gimmicks—we focus on long-term, sustainable change.
-
What areas of the body can you treat with cavitation?Cavitation can target stubborn fat in areas like the abdomen, love handles, thighs, hips, and back. At Harmony Health Clinic, we tailor each body contouring plan based on your goals, body type, and overall health. Treatment areas are selected during your initial screening to ensure we choose the most effective zones for safe and visible fat reduction.
-
What does a typical weight loss session look like? Each session begins with a 10–20 minute ultrasonic cavitation treatment targeting your chosen area. After that, you’ll relax in a 20–30 minute compression therapy session to support circulation and lymphatic drainage. The entire process is non-invasive and comfortable, with no downtime. We offer all packages upfront to keep patients committed and ensure consistent progress. During your initial consultation, we may also order labs to check for any nutrient deficiencies that could impact your results.
-
Does insurance cover any body contouring or weight loss treatments? No, insurance does not cover aesthetic services like ultrasonic cavitation, compression therapy, or non-surgical body contouring. These treatments are considered elective. However, if you undergo lab testing or functional medicine evaluations as part of your weight loss journey, some of those services may be eligible for HSA or FSA reimbursement. We’re happy to provide itemized receipts for your records.
-
How often should I get body contouring treatments? Most patients receive cavitation sessions 1–2 times per week, depending on their schedule and goals. Spacing sessions this way allows the body time to process and eliminate the disrupted fat cells. At Harmony Health Clinic, we recommend a full package of 8–12 treatments for noticeable and lasting results. We’ll create a customized plan during your consultation to ensure safe, effective progress.
-
Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?Yes, chiropractic care is safe and often beneficial during pregnancy. At Harmony Health Clinic, we offer prenatal chiropractic care that helps relieve back pain, pelvic discomfort, and postural strain as your body changes. We use specialized tables and techniques that support both the mother and growing baby. Chiropractic adjustments may also help optimize pelvic alignment in preparation for labor and delivery.
-
What conditions can chiropractic care help with?Chiropractic care can help with a wide range of musculoskeletal and nerve-related conditions. At Harmony Health Clinic in Naples, we commonly treat back pain, neck pain, sciatica, herniated discs, poor posture, tension headaches, joint stiffness, and muscle imbalances. Chiropractic adjustments also support better mobility, nervous system function, and recovery from sports or work-related injuries. Our holistic approach addresses both the symptoms and the root cause of your discomfort.
-
What makes Harmony Health Clinic’s chiropractic care different? At Harmony Health Clinic in Naples, our chiropractic care goes beyond routine adjustments. We use a holistic, personalized approach that includes postural analysis, digital X-rays when needed, soft tissue therapy, and movement-based rehab. We don’t push long-term treatment plans—instead, we educate you on the root cause of your symptoms and empower you with tools for long-lasting relief. Our goal is not just pain relief, but better function and long-term wellness.
-
Is chiropractic care safe?Yes, chiropractic care is widely considered safe when performed by a licensed and trained professional. At Harmony Health Clinic, we assess each patient thoroughly before any adjustments are made, using techniques that are appropriate for your age, health history, and condition. We also offer low-force and instrument-assisted methods for patients who prefer gentler care. For most people, chiropractic care is a safe, drug-free way to manage pain and improve physical function.
-
Do chiropractic adjustments hurt?Chiropractic adjustments are typically not painful. Most patients feel relief or light pressure during the adjustment, and many notice improved mobility and less tension afterward. You might hear a "popping" sound, which is simply gas releasing from the joint—not a sign of harm. At Harmony Health Clinic, we tailor your care to your comfort level, offering both manual and gentle adjustment techniques.
-
How long does it take to see results with functional medicine? The timeline for results depends on the complexity of your health condition and how long it has been present. Some patients begin to notice improvements in energy, digestion, or sleep within a few weeks, while others with chronic issues like autoimmune disease or hormone imbalance may take several months to stabilize. At Harmony Health Clinic, we design personalized care plans and track progress closely through lab markers and symptom changes, so you know exactly where you stand.
-
What conditions can functional medicine treat?Functional medicine is designed to address chronic, complex, and often misunderstood conditions by getting to the root cause. At Harmony Health Clinic, we commonly treat hormone imbalance, IBS and digestive issues, chronic fatigue, thyroid disorders, autoimmune disease, mood disorders, metabolic dysfunction, and persistent inflammation. Our approach is ideal for patients who haven’t found lasting solutions through conventional care.
-
What are Functional Medicine appointments like?"After scheduling your appointment, you’ll receive an email with our intake paperwork. Completing and sending this back before your visit is essential—it allows your provider to begin reviewing your case in advance. Your first visit focuses on clarifying your history, asking key follow-up questions, and identifying any missing pieces. In most cases, labs, bloodwork, or imaging will be ordered by the end of the visit. Once those results are received, we’ll schedule a second appointment where your provider will explain the findings in detail and present a holistic, personalized plan to help you move toward optimal health. Follow-up visits are typically spaced 1 to 3 months apart to evaluate progress, since true healing takes time and consistency."
-
Do you offer hormone balancing or thyroid support?Yes, we specialize in hormone optimization and thyroid support using both functional and conventional approaches. Whether you’re struggling with fatigue, weight gain, irregular cycles, perimenopause, or thyroid symptoms like brain fog or hair loss, we run comprehensive hormone panels (including saliva, urine, and blood tests) to identify imbalances. We use nutrition, herbal support, and bioidentical hormone therapy when appropriate to help you feel balanced and energized again.
-
Does insurance cover functional medicine? Most functional medicine services are not covered by insurance, but they may qualify for HSA or FSA reimbursement. At Harmony Health Clinic, we are a cash-based practice, which allows us to spend more time with each patient and avoid insurance-driven limitations. We can provide a superbill upon request, and we do coordinate standard lab tests through insurance when possible. Specialty testing, extended consultations, and supplements are typically out-of-pocket.
-
Can functional medicine help with gut health and IBS?Absolutely. Gut health is one of the most common reasons patients come to Harmony Health Clinic. We use advanced testing to identify hidden infections (like H. pylori or parasites), leaky gut, SIBO, candida overgrowth, and food sensitivities. Our gut repair programs include targeted antimicrobials, digestive support, lifestyle coaching, and dietary changes to restore your microbiome and reduce symptoms like bloating, diarrhea, constipation, and fatigue.
-
What is functional medicine and how is it different from conventional medicine?Functional medicine is a personalized, science-based approach to healthcare that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of disease—not just managing symptoms. Unlike conventional medicine, which often relies on short visits and prescriptions, functional medicine involves longer consultations, advanced lab testing, and lifestyle-based interventions. At Harmony Health Clinic, we integrate both worlds, offering natural therapies, nutrition plans, and modern diagnostics to create lasting results.
